Hi

decided to get a vpn and got this one for a year.....is anyone else using it and if so have you got any tips as to what settings to use/tweak

I will be using it for vuze, kodi and i will be gaming...wot and wow mostly....will i have to switch it off when gaming

any advice tips to get the most out of it are most welcome

Yes, you should switch it off when you game to avoid extra latency.

Not PureVPN specific (as I'm a PIA guy) but try changing from UDP to TCP.

Test your speeds on UDP and then on TCP. TCP should be slower, but because some ISPs mess with your traffic in stupid ways, you may find TCP to actually be faster.

Dropping your MTU size can also make a difference to your speed. It's basically how much to stuff in each packet to PureVPN. Too low and you're wasting space in the packets. Too high and the packets can end up getting split or dropped. I don't know what PureVPN's client defaults to, but it's worth looking at.
