Purple shirts strike again!

You realise that the purple shirt charge about 2x the price for hard drives? Just saying, I would have took that refund and spent it elsewhere :P.

No hard drive = no computer = no way of shopping elsewhere :(

And it was around '96-97 so there weren't that many places to shop anyway!
 
It annoys me that companies are allowed to send your products away to somewhere for a month and leave you with nothing in the meantime.

I mean if I spend £300 on a graphics card and it breaks within warranty, why should I have to go without for a month because it's being sent all over Europe?

Companies should be given a small amount of time to test for defects, at which point they either replace or don't. None of this "keeping the customer hanging on with no money or product" crap that seems to have become strangely acceptable.
