Puscifer have put the first new song of their upcoming album 'Conditions of My Parole' up on Spin - http://www.spin.com/articles/exclusive-puscifer-debut-eerie-first-song

It's also on YouTube (for now):

I really love it, and think it's an interesting new direction for a band who are already pretty eclectic. Maynard's vocals sound great on such a stripped down song.

For those of you who haven't heard any Puscifer before, here are a few of my favourite tracks:

Massive Maynard fanboy here. I like it, the last 2 mins are fabulous.

Rocketmantastic is possibly one of my favorite songs ever despite being a cover.

Wow, really pleased to see the love for Puscifer (and Maynard) :). TBH I hadn't really gotten into Puscifer until relatively recently, and it was actually after watching 'Blood Into Wine' that I investigated more. If you haven't seen that documentary, I really recommend it. It's very interesting hearing Maynard's thoughts on making music (as well as wine).

The layered vocals on 'Man Overboard' are what get me, he just does stuff vocally that blows my mind. If somehow he and Trent Reznor would get together and make an album (that got released unlike Tapeworm) it would be insane.

Wasn't Reznor hacked off about the way "Passive" came out? Not keen on the interpretation? Still a good song, but (to quote NiN) ".... and all that could have been".

Puscifer though, awesome. Can't wait.

He wasn't super happy about it, although that was directed at the live versions titled "Vacant" before it got released on eMOTIVE.

While Passive is amazing, probably my 2nd fav song ever (behind We're In This Together), Potions is not even that highly ranked on my Puscifer songs list when it's fairly sure to be from the Tapeworm sessions.

Yeah for some reason Potions doesn't do a great deal for me either, it just sounds like a kind of weak version of 'The Wretched.'
