Hi folks well i am getting my new PC from OC which just cost me £2200 and was wondering as im only atm really playing WoW and waiting for Swotor but i would like to get some new games to test this PC out, my spec is briefly i7 @ 4ghz,1 x 5870 (want to crossfire it later if it needs it) 6gb ram, SSD.

What games do you suggest i can buy that are good and will test this beast, ive read Crysis and maybe the new alien vs predator.

Anything else i should look into id love to get into Eve but everytime i try it i never get past the tutorial. Any other good space games ?

What should i look out for in the future releases?

Anything really, i also looked at some old games like Myst.

Exactly thats why i want to try something new and good graphics wise but seems everywhere i go people only have crysis to say, why dont all developers start making some proper insane games, they all seem to be about war.
 
yep your right, i have absolutely no need for a PC like that but i have money to throw and was bored at the time of ordering it. I may well get into other games i just wish they werent all war games, those just really dont interest me.

I love MMOs maybe i will get into some of the other games on offer that i didnt play previously.

Plus i want to setup for blu rays etc.

What do you guys play or do with systems like this?
 
ohh thanks for the link thats more like it, would that work if i bought the game installed it and then downloaded that ?

Are there any special sites like that to download mods from for other games ?

Thanks Quixote for the list, The Secret World is one MMO id never heard of and must say it looks interesting, will kee my eye on that one.

Call of priyat i will get was looking at that yesterday.

Tomb raider is one i forgot about, i played some of the original ones and loved them.

yes i like driving games what man doesnt hehe, is there one you can recommend that has an online side to it playing against others with a good rank system etc?

Zenoo clash lol looks interesting and wierd the vids i looked at shows it has some nice graphics.

One game i remember playing along time ago was systemshock 2 mix of rpg/sci fi and fps if i remember, anything like that on the market?

Ive never tried or even thought about a flight sim, thanks for the idea.

I totally agree with you even though i posted that comment, ive lived in a lot of very poor countries around the world, they fix everything, they waste nothing, everything has a use or a re-use. We are a throw away society.

Would you pay 25% more for you PC parts if they were part of lets say a fair trade scheme?

The people who makes these parts make hardly any money.

Not sure if this is availible for PC components but i certainly wouldnt mind paying more.

Yep X flight is something i would never have dreamed about buying or even thought of but i got to admit it looks very interesting i am going to order it.

Any links or sites to go to for mods for games like this as im new to that sort of stuff.
