Push Pins are forever.

I bought a Zalman heatsink to replace the whiny fan on the northbridge. I had to remove the motherboard to get at the back and try and force the push pins out. I pushed and pushed and finally gave up in a fit of rage.

I reassembled and now the chipset fan is dead

Oh well, at least the whiny noise is gone.
