About to install a TX3 and the push pins seem a lot tougher than the stock heatsink. As the motherboard is sitting inside the case, how hard would you guys say is too hard?

Cheers. :)

Alright, I'm hoping it won't flex that much, I'm assuming they're designed to go in eventually without breaking anything?

The mobo being in the case is the only reason I bought the TX3. I planned on it being just a quick fix for the rising summer heat which didn't require hauling the mobo out.

I've pushed the pins through out the case in the hope it "softens" them up a tad. Once it's in I'll have it supported by some cable ties and such. If this thing falls somehow, it's going to do a lot of damage. :P
