push/pull fan settings

I've just finsihed running a stability test on my rig (8 hours of prime) & everything was fine.

But one thing I have noticed from hardware monitor is the fans on my True are running at different speeds. Both fans are Noctua NF-P12 fans.

The pull fan is plugged into the CPU fan header

The push fan is plugged in to the CHA_FAN1 header.

with prime running I'm showing the max RPM of the push fan to be 32 rpms lower than the pull fan.

is this a problem or am I just being overly picky?

Plug both into the cpu fan header with a Y shapped splitter.

A more general answer to push/pull settings would be push through air coolers, pull through radiators

Push/pull combined on a true got me two degrees better than one on push

I didn't want to use a Y splitter, didn't want to risk damaging the MB.

thanks for the help gents, I'll not worry about it.

you wont damage the motherboard running two fans off one header... well those two fans anyways!

in terms of RPM difference this is normal
