Push/Pull question

I have a megahalem with 2 fans in push pull on it and want to control them both on the same channel with a Zalman fan controller (that one). Now, the controller can handle 7w per channel and the Yates are rated at 3.6, meaning I'm 0.2w over the controllers limit.

First question is, what problems could this cause? Could it break the controller or is 0.2w within "safe" tolerances?

Secondly, as a compromise, if I was to run one fan off the controller and one off a motherboard header (they aren't PWM fans so it will be running at 100% all the time), which fan is better to have running 100% the push or the pull? Or will it not make any difference?

Sorry for the noobie questions, hope someone can help!

The 3.6 is a kick off wattage and to keep them running would require less. I would think the extra 0.2w is not an issue. A nice way to do it would be to have a timer delay on one fan but probably not required.

Your second question, I have an apache PWM fan pushing and a 3 speed antec on low speed setting at a constant speed pulling. This seems to work fine, it is very quiet and reduces temps a couple of degrees below the single apache. For benchmarking, I can set the Antec on high

Ah ok, I thought they needed a constant 3.6 :P.

I think I'll run them both off of the fan controller in that case then, unless anyone else has some input?
