Push vs Pull CMS?

Hi,

I have recently been having a read up about Push vs Pull CMS websites, and their advantages for search engine rankings. I.e Pull CMS sites do not appear more than once on the search engines, as the search engine spiders (or whatever you want to call them) generally ignore anything after the '?' sign in the URL (like the one found in the address of the page you are viewing now). Therefore if your main concern is about getting lots of traffic through a CMS site then Push is the better option.

Is this still the case? or are these old articles that i've been reading and things have changed?

Does anyone know of a list of which CMS's are pull and which are push? I presume its not as simple as looking at the generated URL.

Also can anyone recommend me a good (presumably Push) CMS engine, that has a professional look and feel, and is very customizable.

Mod rewrites mean you can easily fake a dynamic URL which the search engines will think is a series of folders and index them fine.

Can you give me any examples of this?

and examples of good CMS systems that are either 'Push' or 'Pull with a module rewrite' ?

Cheers.
