Put me on card!

Well as you have all seen i have had a few probs with the 59 to say the least!.

Anyway went out today and bought a new one to put me on till i get the right card for me.
Anyway it was only a 5770 but what a card getting some daft clocks with it 950/1435 with 1.3V. I know loads of ppl will come back with 460 this and 55 that but i would say 2 of these would do the normal guy all day long.

This card gets a good 7/10 from me.

nice clocks but usually 5770 ram flops out a above 1400mhz and ECC kicks in so it still looks like it's performing well but actually it's slower check this user Msi Kombuster do 3 runs at 1350,1375,1400,1425 When you see your score lower by even a few points consistantly then you've hit the ram wall. Hynix ram is the best on the 5770 series. I did like my vapour x 5770 @ 960/1375 but it was no match for my new 5850 at 950/1200 1.21V.

They make a good inbetween card while ati and nvidia sort out pricing and the new 6000 series

Ye i have clocked it back to 900/1330, seems happy and at the end of the day will want to sell it

But as you say for £126 its a good card. 300+FPS on DODs 1920x1080 what more do you want.

You know DoD:S is more CPU dependent right?
