I was just wondering, since its late and I cannot ask OCuK, does the Cataclysm Hellscream PC come with wireless internet capabilities? or do I have to buy that stuff separately and put it in? (Im not too clever with PCs .."Yet")

-Cheers, Vyers.

I believe they don't so you will need to purchase a separate card, alternate buy a USB wireless dongle.

Where would I buy and how would I install the card? I wouldnt want a usb stick poking out of my tower with two year old running around -Snap- -rage-

A usb one would probably better for someone not too clever with pc's

why dont you use it wired?

Wired would be much better.

After that powerline would be a good idea.

Then installing an internal wireless card.

Then a wireless usb dongle.

+1 for powerline

It will allow you to connect to your network without a long cable or the addional latency and low transfer speeds of wifi. This kit is well priced and does a good job.

Though if you still want to go with wifi then I suggest a USB stick like this and a USB extension cable like this - so no snappages occur.

IF you haven't bought the PC yet, you can always give the sales team a call, and ask for one to be fitted, when they build it for you, will add a little extra cost of course, but shouldn't be to much.

Give them a call when they are open, they are a friendly helpful bunch.

It helps me out of the problem, Thanks for your analysis!

Im going to pick up the PC in around an hour from the store, Powerline.. does this link to my router?

edit: I dont use wired because the only phone port is in the living room and my routers in there, and I dont think my wall is "drillable" ;O

Yes, its pretty simple to set up:

plug one adapter into a power socket next to your PC
plug the other adapter into a power socket near your router
connect an ethernet cable between your PC and the first adapter
connect another ethernet cable between the router and the second adapter
