I have a Ryzen 1700 build with no decent GPU, would this be worth doing on just a CPU? Electric is fairly cheap.

That's really good. I could probably sell both systems and graphics cards, and replace with one ryzen / Vega system for a good upgrade in hash rate.

You don't even need top tier Ryzen, a 1600X will perform just as well as any of the 8 core chips

Even an old 2600K @4.5GHz gets 240H/s...80 per core and only use 3 cores...only get 20 coins a day at present but only costs 30p a day to run i reckon...coins were at 8p few days ago..lower now but they will go back up once ICO coins settle down :)

Its something for nothing :)

Ideas?

Using a HD5450 and a Ryzen 1700. Says Nvidia driver missing?

Just set this up on my machine. Created a couple of cpu config files for gaming and none gaming. Gaming, 4 cores can mine. None, it can have all of them.

What does this rely on? Is it cpu?

I have a I7 950 at stock speed of 3ghz but I do have a 4ghz profile saved in the bios with a nitro 390 8gb

I also have a go z420 pc that has a Xeon processor st 3.6ghz with a quadro 3000 gpu

Could be tempted to give it a try as something to tinker with

Definitely. I'm don't think your older i7 will be really profitable, but your 390 definitely will be, unless your electricity costs are stupidly high. Unsure about the Xeon, depends how many cores it is and how old. It's essentially from the 3XXX generation right? If so probably worth it but it won't be anywhere near as good as your 390. The quadro is worth finding out about but I wouldn't hold your breath on that one.
