Putting a higher mAh battery in your phone

Think phone came with 1900mAh battery which is getting done now, I see you can get 3500 & 6500 mAh batteries, will the phone likely have any issues if I put in say a 3500 mAh battery, I assume it's standard stuff?

Depends on the manufacturer, sometimes these larger batteries can actually be much lower quality so even with the higher rated mAh, it could actually be worse than the original one.

I swapped the battery in my Xperia Play years ago from 1500 to 2500 odd and it did make a huge difference in terms of battery life. Although comparing it to phones now, it still didn't last that long .

External batteries are honestly better way to go in my opinion, sure it's an extra thing to carry but they usually hold a lot more charge and can work with any device.

most cheap batteries with high mah claims are just fake and if you test the have extremely small mah. when i say small, not even a 10th of the claimed mah.
also had phones that havent accepted high mah batteries presumably the charging software/hardware.
