Putting an album onto my ipod?

Hi

Need some help as Apple itunes is doing my head in!.

I have just ripped a cd using dbpoweramp into AAC format.

I open Itunes connect my ipod which shows up.

I scan for media in itunes and the album shows up in music.

Now when I try to drag and drop album to the ipod device in the right menu screen it does nothing?

Im a bit lost on whats going wrong.

Just thought do I need to have sync enabled?

Was hesitant to tick that as I have cd rips that are not backed up and only on my ipod currently.

Hi

I figured it out in the end, I needed to enable sync. It did mean I would lose about 7 cd albums that I ripped to alac, as the only backup I had of these was on the ipod itself.

I need to rip these cds again anyway to aac so I can stream to my sonos speaker.
