Putting Nvidia card in after ATI card was in?!

Hey guys,
I have an ATI graphics card right now and am going to do a fresh install with my new media centre XP 2005. Now, I may get a Nvidia card this week, but am still unsure. I wanna install my games, but only when I get my new install up.

I was just wondering when I have the ATI drivers and everything if I do the fresh install, if I get an Nvidia card, will I have to reformat again?! I'm wondering if I have to wait till I install windows, or if I can do it now, delete the ATI drivers and install Nvidia ones

Fresh instal then run "drivercleaner" in safe mode to get rid of the bits of ati drivers left over.

You can do exactly what you just said, use your current card, then use driver cleaner to get rid of the ati stuff and then install your nvidia card.
