Putting sliced web images back to together, and then splitting again.

Hey all

So currently I'm trying to design a brand new website. Well I say brand new, I'm not that good at designing, but I know my way around HTML and CSS enough to get a template off the internet and manipulate it in the way I want.

However, I haven't done it properly for quite a while, and I have just downloaded a few templates and forgot what's the best way that I can put the images back together that have been split up to be places in different CSS div sections, but when loading the website it looks like they're all just one image.

I have been playing with photoshop and completely forgot. It's easy enough putting them back together, but it's just cutting them back up again and getting the right sizes to fit them into the divs again.

Hopefully someone can make sense of what I just said, some help would be great.

I think he might be referring to CSS sprites.

You want the Slice tool - head to ImageReady and hit "K"

Unless you're using a verson of Ps later than CS2, where imageready is built into photoshop. The slice tool will be near the top of the tools. May be with the 'k' shortcut not sure.
