CPU-Z doesn't appear to be picking up all my RAM correctly. Is this a common issue? I have attached links to a picture of my ram and screenshots of cpu-z.

The readout that appears to be wrong is under the Memory SPD Tab

Memory SPD

Module 1 DDR3, PC3-8500F (533 MHz), 2048 MBytes, Micron Technology
Module 2 DDR3, PC3-10700F (667 MHz), 2048 MBytes, OCZ
Module 3 DDR3, PC3-10700F (667 MHz), 2048 MBytes, OCZ
Module 4 DDR3, PC3-10700F (667 MHz), 2048 MBytes, OCZ
Module 5 DDR3, PC3-10700F (667 MHz), 2048 MBytes, OCZ
Module 6 DDR3, PC3-8500F (533 MHz), 2048 MBytes, Micron Technology

It should be 'DDR3, PC3-10700F (667 MHz), 2048 MBytes, OCZ' for all six modules

OCZ SPD-Z

I wouldn't worry about it. It's just 2 sticks have the SPD programmed differently, but it makes no difference whatsoever providing they run at PC3-12800 speeds.

Thank's for your reply. Apparently OCZ have a utility to correct RAM SPD (OCZ SPD-Z) and it doesn't void warrently. I just joined their forum to find out more detail. Will post what I find. :)

Below is the reply I got from OCZ:

Hello Wayne,

SPD-z does not support DDR3 or the X58 chipset.

The different SPD will have 0 effect when you set the proper timings in the bios. SPD is only read by the board at boot when things are set to "Auto" or the CMOS has been cleared.

I can RMA the 2 sticks if you like, but there is no way for you to fix this without sending in the ram.

What CPU-Z displays doesn't matter. If it's set in the bios and its working fine then don't worry. I think some DDR2 modules are supported with SPD-Z so unlike me you might be able to still change the info.
