Hey,

Just installed a new cooler to a new setup I'm building for a mate. One of the core's on the core 2 duo chip I've installed is 10C hotter than the other core. Is this due to uneven thermal paste do you think?

Uneven thermal paste, or the cooler isn't level maybe one of the pins hasn't been pushed down all the way.

What type of cooler is it?

Funny you should say that cause one of the pins actually is at an angle - It's the Coolink Silentator!
