https://idaffodil.co.uk/products/freeview-box-receiver-recorder-august-dvb482 has anybody had one of these?

We have a humax pvr which seems to be on its last legs, and finding a replacement hard to get.

The TV records using a flash drive, but if its recording you can't watch another channel, nor can you watch a previous recording on the flash drive.

The TV is a LG smart TV, my gf has no internet or broadband, only her phone and tablet.

This device has 2 tuners, so you can record, and watch either the TV or presumably another flash drive at the same time.

If i were you id be looking on facebook marketplace for a talk talk or BT youview box. Should get one for about £20 ish.

I had a DN360T talk talk box and tbh it was very good. Records HDTV on a 320Gb HDD. It no longer supports ITVX or youtube, but your smart tv should handle those.

We still use the youview box a few times a year as we take it on holiday and use it in the caravans.

I would second the BT or EE youview Pro box... Seems to be better than all the off the shelf PVRs you can buy, it receives regular updates, unlike the others.
