I'm looking to buy a small solid state PVR that has AV-in, and has good record quality (something like 640x480 @25fps). It can't be hard drive based, as it's going to be used with a bullet cam in karting.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what's good?

I've recently just bought a DXG Roadster 521. It records at 640x480 @ 30FPS in MPEG4 format to a SD card, you cant really get them over here, I got mine in the US, you can get them for around $150 (So just over £75!) it's actually a nice bit of kit, 5MP camera which works pretty well in good light, has it's own builtin recorder which does the 640x480 @ 30FPS, plus some little extras like radio and MPEG4/MP3/Picture playback. I recently bought a PAL Bullet cam but it didnt work right, I think it maybe a NTSC issue, so hopefully isnt a huge problem because they're the same price as PAL ones.

Other than that I would ask the same question over @ http://www.stevesforums.com/forums/view_forum.php?id=92 they will know what over cams have AV-In :)
