When controlling pumps and fans with pwm is any heat produced??
Wanting to control 2 pumps on one header and 9 high perf fans on another on my aquaero 6.
There all pwm so will this be an issue??

At low RPMs, the VRMs on the AQ6 can get a bit warm. If you think you will be running <50% power often, get the passive heatsink to be sure.

The number of pumps on the header won't affect the Aquaero since the pumps are being powered directly from the PSU.

Are those 9 fans the Corsair SP120 HPE PWM ones? If so, I got some bad news for you unless you lucked out and have one of the newer batches of the AQ6.

Nah mate there piranha's got loads when they were on offer a while back, how do i know which batch of AQ6??? Only got it bout 2-3 weeks ago

Whats the worst that could happen?? Presuming the AQ will just shut the channel down??

I will have a look which ohm resistors are on mine tomoz.
