Hi guys,

I'm looking to watercool the northbridge on my board but as it has a heatpipe assembly running to the PWM mosfets i was wondering if they really needed actively cooling?

Could i leave them bare or should i attach some additional alu heatsinks?

Cheers in advance! :)

Thanks mdj.

Thought as much. I've got a zalman fan mount so i'll try and mount a low speed 92mm or 120mm fan over the area to gurantee some airflow.

Cheers,
