Hi,

I'm trying to find an adaptor which will allow me to connect an Asaka Viper as the front fan on my Nzxt Phantom but i can't seem to find the correct adaptor. I'm wondering if anyone knows if one even exists?

The case has a fan controller built in, several fans around the case are connected to a central point on the top and you can control the individual case fan speeds from there. The issue is all the connections from that point are for 3pin fans and the Viper 4pin PWM fan connector won't fit in.

I've seen several adaptors but none that are 3pin female to 4pin male, anyone know of one?

I guess if not i'll just buy a fan with a 3pin connection but i'd rather not as i've got the Viper and it's a great fan.

Thanks

I don't think either of those would work unfortunately.

It's to connect a 4 pin PWM fan connector and the first option is a Molex connection. The second would be perfect but i've looked at that one on Asaka's website and it's two 3pin fan connectors, one male one female, and i need the male connection to be 4pin.

That wouldn't work either.

I saw that one on Asaka's site too and the female connection is four pin, the same as the Viper has anyway.

Thanks for trying though Wires :)

I have found a cable but am not supposed to link it on the forums due to forums rules.

Technical specifications:
Connectors:
1x PWM female
1x 3-Pin Female
2x PWM male

if you want the link you will need to setup your trust account and I will sent the link to you via trust msg.

Thanks Wires but i found the Y adapter earlier. Sounds from your description to be the same one, hope it works.

I do appreciate the effort though :)

I was also looking for something like that a while ago and could not find on. I ended up cutting the side off of the 3 pin socket so that my Apache Black's would fit and it works great now.
