PWM Fans

Quick question, if a fan in PWM do I have to use this feature? What if I just plug power into it instead.

Here is the fan I'm thinking of getting,

ok. So does it plug straight into the power supply or to the motherboard? I want to add 8 fans to my case but i dont know how or where they would all plug in :s i want 7 of them to be pwm controlled but the 8th to just run at a constant speed.

cough? :s sorry I'm a noob when it comes to things like this. I always buy my PC's ready to go but recently its become too hot for my games and I need to do something to cool it.
