So I've upgraded to Win10 and previously I was using Easytune which isnt supported and in searching the internet I find that ET will never be supported.

The issue is now that I was using ET to regulate my CPU rad fans (SP120 Performance)

I've tried Speedfan and initially for the first ten minutes it worked fine, but now it doesn't.

With ET I could run the fans down to 15% of max, bringing the speed under 1000rpm thus being quiet when just browsing etc.

Speedfan won't allow under 30% despite setting PWM minimum at 10%.

Making changes to the control curves within Speedfan makes no difference.

Can anyone suggest any alternatives?

With speedfan depending on motherboard you need to change the PWN mode to software controlled in advanced options. This allowed me to have full control of my fan headers on my Gigabyte board.

I did that first and as I said it worked for about 5 mins and now just ignores any changes in temp or settings.

Smffy - thanks for the link. I think it'll be my solution next payday after I complete my house move.

I have the grid+ v2 (allows independent control of fans) so if you have any questions about it or CAM then fire away. Personally I thoroughly recommend it.

TBH I would only need a single curve as I'll be using it only to control my rad fans so there's no need for independent control.

My case fans are hooked up to a Sentry LXE.
