Is necessary/advisable to take a Whey/Carb shake after Cardio?
I'm basically trying to add lean muscle at the moment and i'm on a 3 day split.
Monday=Chest/Shoulders/Tris, Wed=Back/Biceps and Fri=Legs/Abs (Taken from GordyR sticky - instead i'm doing 2 sets of 12 reps with lowish weights to try and get the form correct before going to any higher weights (i'm a complete noob when it comes to Free weights). On Tuesday and Thursday I do 1 hr cardo on Treadmill, Bike and/or Rower - so do I need to take a shake after these days as well?
Also, do I still need to take whey in the morning and at night on these cardio days as well? (My diet is pretty good, no junk food or snacks and plenty of fruit and veg and at least 2 litres of water)
