Just bought some, should arrive tomorrow, for use with my old MF X-Ray Amp and as the output for my PC and other sources I have in the office.

Overkill perhaps, but I have a superb Amp that no one wants so might as well put it to good use. Had a listen last week to these, B&W things and MA Bronzes and thought these sounded best.

Now the question...

I have a Meridian Explorer 2 which I have been using on the PC. I would still like to use this and I believe it supports connection to my amp (it needs to be phono) so would someone advice on the best method of connection please?

Note to self....

...When ordering cables and wall mounts, check if they are 1 x off or 2 x off.

So have plugged these into my main kit and am running them in, getting better with each hour and so far for the money very impressed but not quite at the level of the shop ones, which had plenty of playing on them I guess.

i've just purchase 4 2020i to replace mission 701s which had developed a noise at low frequencies, they took about 5 hours to open up but sound quite nice now 30 plus hours in.

I think sitting them on the desk is fine for what I am using them for. I have a spare pair of Atacama stands in the garage but they look crappy frankly and as it's in my office I don't really need to ultimate base depth so will leave them desk mounted I think for now. Impressive little speakers, but I plugged them into my main hifi into my NAIM Supernait 2 and the difference between these and my old GS10's was significant, though so they should be with the price difference.

If it's the infamous 700 series baffle rattle, then it's relatively easy to repair with some epoxy or non-solvent impact adhesive.
