Hi All,

I've heard that AOL is not compatible with a range of routers? Is that right...

Also; I've read that I may need to make a separate AOL account just for the router itself.

I don't have AOL myself - I'm asking on behalf of a friend who is struggling to authenticate his login via a Netgear DG834N.

Any info appreciated :)

Hi,

Yup he is using his full email address to login, but he has multiple accounts.

He tells me his is the master one; will it only work with the master account?

I installed a new speedtouuch modem for him and it authenticated straight off, but not with the netgear

01. Make sure its a master account
02. make sure its with @aol.com on the end of the username
03. Visit this link for more information http://www.kitz.co.uk/adsl/AOLsetup.htm
