q4 1v1ers...

I'm decent *coughs* 
TBH i'm more of a Q3 player for dueling in DM6 etc. I quite like Q4 for team DM's & CTF but in all honesty i get sick of peeps spamming newbie weps like the BFG-ay and Grenz.
But to give you an idea i've played through em all from doom1, Q, Q2 (6 of us used to ipx these in my house on a weekend
awesome days), Q3, D3, Q4 and i'm looking into ET at the mo. I'm not liking Q4 or D3 too much though. I do play em from time to time but they just never hit the FPS community in a very influencial way at all.
I used to play for FuNK UK in Q2 CTF CTC and duels. Great fun. I used to match Doom on the early morning dutch servers so i'd say i was at my highest skill level then. I've waned off a bit these days, my flash railing in Q3 was terrible the last time i joined a duel. Q is not like riding a bike, if you don't keep in with it your donald ducked. It only takes me a week of hard gaming to get my feel back though.
I've got a lot of commitments at the mo hence me not getting on much but i'd love to pop on sometime. Keep toot for me and say hi if you come across me: XysteR

I've never played Q4 befoere. I'l go and buy it though just to keep you entertained

q4max is where all the best people play.
Your playing noobs mate, no wonder its not a challenge and no doubt you use ingame browser or something to find games 
Like I said get on quakenet IRC and goto those channels, guys on there are awesome and if thats not a challenge then you should be a pro, but if that was a case you would already know it
Be prepared to get ya ass handed to ya is all I can say, I thought I was good until I played some "good" players
Also what do you mean "kill" your pc, quake players go for bland lol should be no fancy textures or lighting on.
