Q6600 3.0GHz

Is the Q6600 guaranteed to run @ 3.0GHz only supported should you use the motherboard and memory that they recommend?

I currently have a Gigabyte Ga-P35-Ds3 and 3GB OCZ XTC Platinum revision RAM, and have a low knowledge of Overclocking but am looking to learn, i was interetsed by the offer provided but wondered if it would be completely useless me getting it?

Righteo, i'm going for the Q6600 now definitely soon as i get more money, i already have the AC Pro7 too

Well i'm gonna be using an AC Pro7 but i doubt i'm going to Overclock it to the extreme simply because i am an overclocking n00b
