Hey everyone. Im running my Q6600 G0 @ 3.2GHz now (Roughly a 33% overclock). I just wanted to check with experienced overclockers out there if my settings are within safe limits, as im very apprehensive about having to up my voltage from stock levels (for full hardware specs see sig)

Firstly, I passed the prime 95 check for 1 hour. CPU cores were 58-60 degrees at 100% load.

CPU: 3200 MHz
Bus Speed: 356 MHz
FSB: 1422.2 MHz (ABIT QUAD GT supports up to 1600MHz FSB)
Multiplier: x9
CPU VCORE: 1.360 V (VID was 1.325 V) - idling temperatures and 100% load temps are around the same as when it was at the stock voltage (antec 1200, artic freezer pro 7)
My memory is running at 2.2v @ 1066MHz (Corsair Dominator CM2X2048-8500C5D DDR2800 - can run @ 1066)

My main concern is cpu z and everest show the cpu voltage as fluctuating between 1.360-1.380) is this normal?

I dont think i really need it faster. I was happy at 3.0 GHz but i got bored so tried for higher.

So that voltage fluctuaion is normal?

It was fluctuating like that even at stock speeds so I think ill leave it like that and run more tests. See how it handles my everyday computing tasks.

How long did you run prime 95 to test yours?

Only primed for an hour at 3.0 but primed for 10 (overnight) at 3.6. Due to voltage, heat etc I rolled back to 3.4 and primed for 6 hours at that speed. Passed no probs and ive used it ever since at 3.4 with no issues
