Q6600 B3 --> QX6700, Worth it?

As the title really, would i be able to a better overclock out of the QX6700?

Deffinetly not. I've got the QX6700 and it runs really hot at stock so I deffinetly wouldn't dare overclocking it. The Q6600 should be a much better overclocker.

Never again am I buying an extreme edition chip, the huge price difference just isn't worth it.

I'd more say Q6600 B3 to Q6600 GO was the better idea, the price you can pick the GO's up for and the price you'd get for your old CPU mean it wouldn't cost that much.
