Ok I've decided to go with a q6600 unless AMD's chip that's soon to be released matches or exceeds Intels.
I'm just wondering what mobo is best for the q6600 in terms of OCing and gaming. Would it be worth my while getting an x38 or wait for an x48? I don't really have a budget and I'm willing to pay extra for a mobo as I'm trying to get the best specs I can - something thatg will last, support future upgrades and something that is very good quality for money with a lot of features.
I would prefer DDR2 as the current DDR3 prices are very high at the moment and I dont think I can afford to dish out that sort of money on RAM alone..
Hope you can help me out here
Many thanks,
Adam
