Hi all,

As title really. I've heard about having to add +15'c to temp readouts with many programs, are there any that are accurate with no messing about? What do people recommend using?

Thanks

With two instances of orthos (100% cpu) I'm reading at 33'c load on two cores and 40'c one the other two? Stock everything.

Bearing in mind this is on air (thermaltake ultra extreme with push/pull) this is a bit low isn't it? Is it more likely to be +15'c?

TAT reads the real core temps, and there's no need to add 15 oC onto what TAT reports. Even on a G0 stepping. They do seem very low temps, so I guess you ain't overclocked it yet.

Get prime95 (P95V253) this will save you opening two orthos.

no on-die temperature reading will be truly accurate, but they are a good estimation.

they're not accurate because they've not been calibrated.

There seem to be three programs that I have tested that give accurate temps, TAT, Coretemp and Everest
