After some changes I now have the following:
Mobo: Gigabyte EP43-UD3L
CPU: Q6600
Cooler: AC
RAM: 4 GB GeIL DDR2 800 PC2-6400
GFX: Zotac 470GTX
PSU: BFG800watt PSU
HDD: Samsung SpinPoint F3 500GB SATA-II 16MB Cache
DVD: Generic
FDD: yes they still exist!
Antec 900 case (debating going back to p180 Sonata, but thats another thread)
So my question is, based on this:

(The multiplier is going up and down as the BIOS dynamically adjusts the CPU load... I guess)
What should I be aiming at towards in terms of a mild overclock? I see much discussion of Q6600 and VID levels etc, but not entirely sure what it all means so just looking for some general guidance before I get my hands dirty.
