Hi

This is my 1st overclock with my processor, I was using bios version 0401, but found that my processor would not clock more than 3Ghz.

Then I decided to flash my board to 0503, after tinkering with the memory settings, these are the results I got :

Not bad Heh !

I have tried to go higher but I get BSODS, on 3.61 it will post then restart the machine, am I thinking right that I should consider changing my PSU for a better one ? (for overclocking Power Stability Issues)

Can anyone advise me, should I be using Orthos or Prime to see how stable my Overclock is ?

For a Quad core Prime95 ver 25.4 is more suitable as it stresses all 4 cores where as ORTHOS only stresses 2 unless you run 2 instances of it and set affinity.

don't forget to select 'Round Off Checking' on the Advanced menu before you start - you'll want it to flag errors if (when?) it encounters them.

ok people !

I tried running Prime on my 3.420 clock, the 1st core stopped working after 1 minute, I knocked the cpu down to 3.24 Ghz being running prime now for 10hrs, Here's the screen shot :
