After weeks of issues with my PC, I've tried every combination from different BIOS revisions to different voltages etc.

Even when running the PC at stock settings, it now fails Prime 95. Could this be the CPU or Motherboard? I know the RAM is ok as it passes memtest ok. To think of it though, the mem won't run at stock speeds (1600), but will run at 1800!!

So so confused now and had enough

I had some issues after a bios upgrade via windows bit dodgy i know but were i went wrong was i forgot to reset default settings in Bios before upgrading and left me unstable even at stock settings so was advised to cleared my Cmos left the batt out all night as the first time i took out the batt and reset the switch, then powered it up it still had the date and time so left out the batt all night .. then loaded my last good configured Bios 602 and all was well hope it works for you .. Davy

Yeah I've tried that a few times. Its ok (ish) for a bit then goes pete tong again. I guess that points towards the MB more eh

Well when trying it at stock speeds last night, both tests failed but on different cores each time.

I'm kinda praying its not the CPU, as I've just ordered a new MB and RAM;) Gonna ebay the other stuff.
