Hi,

I've overclocked my work pc a little (2.7Ghz) but wondered how much I could realistically get out of it on the stock cooler.

Specs:
Q6600
Asus p5k
4Gb Corsair DDR2 800MHz/PC2-6400 (4x1Gb)
HX520 PSU

My settings are as follows:

Code:
AI OC Tuner Man
CPU Ratio Auto
FSB Strap to North Auto
FSB Freq 300
PCIE 100

DRAM Timing Man
DRAM Freq 5-5-5-12
DRAM Static Read Auto
Trans Booster Disabled - 0

CPU Voltage Auto
CPU PLL Auto
FSB term V Auto
Dram Voltage 1.95V

All others Auto

Any suggestions appreciated. I haven't tried yet but do you think it will go to 3Ghz on the stock cooler?

thanks, was just about to ask what a peak temp is. I'm getting about 56 degrees when I bench atm so looks like I have some room for improvement!

Don't suppose anyone with a similar setup would share their settings!? ;-)

you should get 3.0ghz oout of a q6600 no problem at stock volts with any reasonable aftermarket cooler, just set your FSB to 333. If its unstable just up the volts a notch at a time till its stable
