Q6600, Oc'ing and C1E

Got a Q6600 and clocked it to 3.6

I have turned the C1E thingy off, but as I don't have my PC @ full load for most of the time, is it better to have it on to save power / heat?

it should drop the multi to 6 which will give me 2.4ghz instead, which will be lots cooler me thinks

It'll definitely be something I do when I get home then,

Temps are at 45-50 idle so HSF isn't as loud when not needed.

Well, my Mobo, I foound, doesn't have C1E, it's called CIA2 I think

Also has several seeting, Cruise. Sport, Racing etc anyone had any experience with these settings?

Scrap that, that's a different setting, got the C1E setting turned on but no change in temps.

Anything that drops the Vcore while it's not need does anyone know?
