Q6600 or Penryn??

Looking at getting one of the above....

The Penryn i'm looking at is the 9450.

I'll be clocking both.
The Q6600 seem to clock better, but the 9450 seem to do more cycles per clock..

What do people recon is better?

I have just got the P5K Delux, should i be able to get the 450fsb with the 9450???

Looks like i'll be getting that then.

Weescott - how easy was it to clock the ES that you had or did it take a lot?

AMD/ATi can't even touch Intel for CPUs and Nvidia for GFX at the moment, they are about a year behind, and Intel and nvidia are just using that to push people about, and not sharing,

If they were to work together, AMD i could see dying out very quick.

Looking on XS, and some of the penryns are having awsome clocks on air - Most 4+

They are the ES ones, but ES's arn't always the best clockers.

I think i'll be ordering a Q6600 after xmas i think.

Penryn just won't be good for a few months due to the fsb strap and the low multis.

Super cheap atm.

So i'll keep with that for a while as long as it clocks well or i'll swap for a differant one.
