Q6600 or QX6850?

Right im building / upgrading my rig. I was looking at some of the overclocks on the Q6600 chips and have seen some insane overclocks but everyone seems to be using either watercooling or phase change.

So can i overclock the q6600 to a nice level using just a descent air or would a qx6850 be better for me?

Also where can i get a nice phase change unit?

its sort of warm in my pocket, but if i can get a q6600, a phase change unit and overclock it to 6850 speeds for less then 6850 im up for it

cool any ram you can suggest? im after 4gb in x2gb sticks and was looking at the EVGA 680i mobo unless there are others that yo ucould suggest?

cool. basically my farther needs to dump some cash for his business so im not paying for any of this its sorta free bee as they've run out of items to buy. which is why a 6850 isnt really a problem but if it really wasnt worth it then i would go for the 6600. I think ill see how much more he needs to spend before i make the descision.

But either way motherboard and ram suggestions?

yea basically the build i was looking at was

QX6850
EVGA 680i
another 8800GTX
4gb Ram in 2x2gb sticks possibly 8gb if they need to spend more :S

but it needs to be done before sep so i dont think i can wait for the new intel boards

nice 4ghz on a q6600 :O that must be under phase change.

And basically its either spend the money or lose it, he will get taxed screw loads on it so i might as well spend as much as i can. hence the waste on another 8800GTX and the 8gb of ram :S

But if a 6600 overclocks loads wouldnt a 6850 overclock to silly speeds as well? 5.5ghz odd?

and for some reason i over ordered and have 4gb ocz and another 8gb of black dragon arriving as well :S dunno how i managed that.
