Q6600 overclock do or die

Just wacked a freezer pro 7 on, how hard can i push this cpu? Complete noob, i've got it running @ 3.1 on stock volts

3.2 3.4 3.6, not much left after that before water

With closed loop (H50) had my Q6600 @ 4.0 running for donkey years.

Ive got the same cooler had mine running at 3.5ghz 24/7 for over four years. Cant get it to run stable at 3.6 though.

Got it to 3.4 stable and cool, runs bf4 good. Still feel the need for an upgrade though

Mine has been running stable at 3.6 on air since 7 years with no problem. Cant remember the Volt though

it would help to know what stepping revision the chip is i.e. b3 or g0. the g0 versions generally clock higher. What volts are you using for 3.4 out of interest?
