Hi can anyone who have a similar build to me can post their overclocking settings that they are using in BIOS?
As I had a stable overclock with 2x1GB ram @3.3ghz,
I now want to upgrade and have 2x2GB RAM (4GB) instead and keep getting BSOD after a few hours of running the system.
I tried to set the clock to 3ghz and still got bluescreens.
Im now back to default settings @2.4ghz and it seems stable and no BSOD (hopefully)

Just wondering if anyone can post their overclock settings so i can try something similar? as I want an upgrade to 4GB ram as vista is memory hungry and also want a safe overclock.

Build:
Q6600 @2.4GHZ
ABIT IP35 PRO MOBO
2X500 WD HDD
2X2GB 1066MHZ 8500 OCZ REAPER
512MB 8800GT GAINWARD
ARTIC COOLER FREEZER PRO 7
WINDOWS VISTA 64BIT
600WATTS COOLER MASTER PSU

Have you tried simply testing the 1:1 divider with 4-4-4-12 to see if it works and then tweaking the divider/timings?

At 2.4ghz, what speed is the RAM running at? Try and use the 1:2 divider which causes it to run at 1066mhz and then do a memtest. Obviously make sure you are using 5-5-5-18 timings with 2.1v. If it fails that, RMA the RAM?

OCZ Reaper needs at least 2.1Volts through it. Try upping the DIMM Voltage (default is 1.8v)

related to the Q6600,

hi guys, as I have a Q6600 i thought it would be apt to place my question here.

i'm wanting to over clock my Q6600 and wondered what was a suitable air cpu cooler that would allow that, and wouldn't cost the earth. not looking to over clock huge amounts, just a little boost.

any suggestions?

thanks in advance.
