Q6600 Overclocking help needed!

Hi everyone,
Im having great difficulty in overclocking my Q6600 G0! Please help..
My specs are as follows:
Asus P5K Premium
Corsair TwinX 4GB TWIN2X4096-6400C5
Intel Q6600 G0
Thermalright 120 Extreme
My overclocking is shown in the pics. I cannot seem to go past these settings without the system not booting! Please help!

Cob, my PCI freq is set at 100, I haven't touched this. Any tips or pointers on how changing it can be of benefit?

Upping it can strengthen FSB overclocking a little bit. I run mine at 105mhz. Over 110mhz can damage hard drives.
 
You can disable CPU Spread Spectrum.

And disable everything elsewhere in the BIOS that you do not need (things like legacy USB support, parallel ports etc).
 
What's your CPU voltage in Windows when set to 1.46v in the BIOS (CPU-Z will tell you).
 
Right, in CPU-Z the vcore reading is 1.304v...
I cannot seem to get past these settings even if i up the voltage to 1.46v!
Is there anything else i can do please!??

Just keep upping your voltage.

Are you running any tests to see if your system is stable at each overclock?
 
For this round of C2D C2Q cpus I'm advocating that people pop the vcore up to 1.45V before they start overclocking, leave the memory at auto, and see how far they can get the CPU to clock.

Once they reach the max stable overclock then they can assess the temp their system runs at that speed make the decision to go further, or perhaps wind it back a notch by lowering the vcore/fsb and testing stability.

Only once you have found your cpu overclock would I then suggest going and tightening RAM timings.
 
For a start, drop the RAM divider again - this will tell you whether the issue is RAM or CPU.

1.45? Ow - my Q6600 (low power version) hits 68oC at 3.7gig with those volts. I also find I can't get any further than I can with 1.425V (3.6 100% stable).

The memory divider was dropped as low as it can go in the first line of the first reply.
