Well I couldn't get my q6600 stable past 3.0 and was trying earlier and after changing some settings I restarted the PC but it wouldn't turn on :(

The fans are spinning but the power LED is not lit and nothing comes on the screen :(

Does anyone know how to fix it?

Try resseting your cmos. Normally theres a battery on the mainboard you can remove for 5 mins or so, should reset it. Its normally a CR2032. Some boards have a reset button or jumper.

I can't get it out xD
Theres no way to get my finger under it

Nevermind, I did :P

edit: fixed it, thank you :)

Try not to change more than one setting at a time, so you know what the problem is if it doesn't post anymore.

Glad you sorted it tho :p

It's not just the vcore you need to change. You'll have to tinker with the other voltages on some boards, or if yours has the function, set those to auto and they'll rise as needed. Amount of RAM modules, and timings also has a say.

What board do you have?

PQL-PRO

I set the southbridge and northbridge to max and still couldn't get 3.2 stable.

edit: yes anything higher than 3.0 regardless of voltages crashes when windows logs in.

edit: should I try updating BIOS of the mobo?

Might help, not familiar with the PQL-PRO but if its a bit older then a newer bios might help stability with a quad core considerably. Setting the SB and NB to max probably isn't advisable though.

You shouldn't need more than 1.4 really for 3.2 so it sounds like it could be board stability rather than a voltage issue. You should be able to leave the SB and NB settings on auto. Just make sure your fsb strap, ram timings, ram voltage etc are right

Any chance the FSB is linked with the memorys? Cause if that is the case, your memorys will overclock as well when you overclock the CPU, and it could be the memory won't go that high rather than the CPU.

i set the memory manually.

memory is 1066MHz with 5-5-5-15 and I set the DRAM frequency to 97something.
