Q6600 Overclocking Problems

Can't get it to post with anything other than default settings... I've tried loosening RAM timings, taken RAM down to 667mhz (from 800mz) and everything :(....System Spec:

P5N32-E
Q6600 G0
8800GTX
4GB GeIL Ultra
Corsair 620W PSU

Helllppp me :(
 
What is your BIOS version? Have you checked to see if there is an update as I've seen threads where early BIOS can not take the quad without an update.

Your spec is very similar to mine apart from the mobo and mine works fine. Have you also changed your settings in BIOS for the load stepping and C1E as these are your energy saving settings in BIOS which will throttle back you quad to stock. Disable them if trying to OC above stock.

I have the latest Beta BIOS (thats the only one out at the mo which supports 4GB on my Motherboard, so i cant change) :(
