The E6600 you have in it now is 1066 FSB :)

The Q6600 should work fine (check for BIOS updates) but 975X chipset boards don't overclock them like P35 and X38 can.

i thought the e6600 was 800

i got my e6600 an 800mhz oc on air which im happy with, the cpu will be as a gift so i cant ask for a new mobo too :p

i will be happy to reach 3ghz with the q6600
