Hello folks,

Just a quick one. Do I give this 4 or 8 pins of power?

On my PSU (HX620) I have an 8 pin connector and a 4 pin connector, was just wondering which one I should use.

Thanks. :)

If there is an 8 Pin on your motherboard then yes.

I have the IP35Pro and it wanted the 8pin so it got it and have no stability issues at all. Been overclocked to 3.5Ghz with my GTX overclocked also and the only thing that gave out was the graphics card.

Mine is a X38-DS5 from Gigabyte. It had four of the pin slots covered with a little black cap - so I wasn't sure whether 4 would be the normal for the connection or when I revealed it, 8.

Ahh that is pretty neat as if you only have a four pin connector then you would plug it into the available 4 that you can see now. If you have the 8pin then remove the cap and put the 8 into it. It's all safe. My last motherboard (DFI skt939) used only a 4 pin so it was a first for me too :).
