Q6600 temp

Hi what sort of tempertures would you expect to get on a wc overclocked q6600 B3 @ [email protected] vcore with a Swiftech apogee block ? Im getting mid 40s at idle and in the 70s at load are these temps not too bad ? have already remounted it 3 times already !

I'd be thinking that it should be around 50-55 on load.. as mine is on air??? Although I have a "go" chip.. Still, I'd expect it to be lower..

That seems high, I am on air with a higher clock (albeit a Go stepping) with lower temps. 3.4 Ghz @ 58c. Are you using Core temp to check your temps?

Yeah am using latest core temp to monitor.

1.4050 in the bios, can run 3.5 stable but I have to put sooo much more vcore through that my temps go up quite a bit (more than I am comfortable with 62---67c).
