till what temperature save to overclock this baby i oc'ed it to 3 ghz today it reaches 41 c colder days 38 c case temperature 30 c under max load 50 c plaing games 42 ~ 44 c

36 c 30 c case temperature somewere around that i think it generates more heat because 4 cores or it is just summer

CPU Under 60c on load is fine

I would say nearer 70c for the Quads should be ok.

It's really hard to keep them under 60c with a half-decent overclock, even under water.

Sorry I ment the main cpu temp, not inside the cpu individual core temps

The max temp for a Q6600 is ment to be 62.2c, although from what ive read this is the main cpu temp, not the inside individual core temps ..those should be ok up to mid 70's c on a quad.

So if everest gave you this reading all should be fine..
